Defect Definition
A defect is defined as any error or omission in the product visualization that deviates from the agreed-upon specifications or requirements. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Incorrect dimensions, proportions, or materials
- Errors in colour, texture, or finish
- Missing or incomplete elements
- Incorrect branding or labelling
- Rendering or animation that does not meet the quality agreed upon between both parties, at the start of the engagement.
Rectification Process
- Defect Reporting: Clients must report defect in writing within 7 business days of the final delivery. The report should clearly describe the nature of the defect and provide any relevant supporting documentation or images.
- Defect Assessment: Upon receipt of a defect report, HOBB will promptly review the issue and determine the appropriate course of action. (please refer to our revision policy to understand the definition of free versus paid revisions).
- Rectification: HOBB team will verify the defect and rectify it at no additional cost to the client. This may involve making revisions to the existing asset, recreating the asset, or providing a revised version of the deliverable
- Redelivery: Once the defect has been rectified, HOBB will deliver the revised delivery to the client.
